Redline has the expertise to take on any challenge our experience includes:

 

  • Cleaning and surface finishing: To achieve your desired vacuum levels from industrial vacuum to high vacuum applications your system must be clean and have a smooth internal finish from line grain, mechanical polishing, bead blasting, and electropolishing to achieve higher vacuum levels.

 

  • Mechanical Engineering and FEA: The pressures and stresses are extreme on x-large chambers our Engineering team has dealt with those challenges and designs our products to be safe and functional and to operate trouble-free for years.

 

  • Thermal: Some customers require thermal controls which give the customer the ability to achieve very low temperatures this helps with desorption of gasses, especially water vapor. Heating of the chamber helps with desorption and can be reduced to such an extent that pressures of <10-10 mbar can be achieved.

 

  • Welding Technology: With the use of weld processes we are able to manufacture very small but also Large components. Our specific knowledge focuses on highly complex vacuum chambers with a large number of exits and the intersections and high fitting accuracy. Standardization of the processes and technologies allow us to ensure consistently high quality of all welding processes.

 

 

 

 

Controls Engineering  

Redline Chambers control and automation engineers are able to develop the interface of the system, program the PLC's and work seamlessly with the mechanical engineer to develop your vacuum system.

 

Redline's engineering team starts with the system design, programming, and simulation we test all aspects of the system and make sure it operates with no problems before it leaves our facility.

 

Redline chambers believe that quality and safety comes first and foremost with our systems. When we design a system that needs so simulate space environments and reach heats in excess of 150c and drop below -50c safety parameters are very important to the system function and end-user safety.

 

Redline also realizes that designing and manufacturing a vacuum system to hold up to countless thermal cycles and still perform at its best is where our engineers and their experience in the field sets us apart from the rest of our competition.

 

Redline also offers start-up assistance with your system at your facility with training if needed.

Mechanical Engineering  

Redline Chambers mechanical engineers take your specifications from concept to 3D model and then submit for your approval then create prints for manufacturing. In order to make these feats possible our engineers need to understand the environment and the forces applied to the vacuum systems redline chambers designs. 

  • Thermal cycles and wear on the system including welded joints

  • Structural ribbing to keep its shape due to material weight

  • Gasket deterioration due to thermal contact

  • Cleaning procedures and surface preparation to remove contaminants from outgassing inside a vacuum chamber 

  • Correct add-ons to meet customer specs shroud, platen, heating and cooling channels, electric wraparound heaters etc

Working with state of the art CAD systems our solid modeling capability allows us to share the concept and final design for project review and then move it to our manufacturing professionals. You will receive a dedicated engineering resource for the duration of your project with redline chambers.

 

This resource will be your point of contact for the entire project to give updates and to ask questions and make sure you receive the product you requested. He or she will relay your requests to the rest of our team so if there is a concern we work as a team to answer it to get the best result.
