Redline Chambers Ships High Vacuum Chamber to Los Alamos National Lab

Redline Chambers, announced the shipment of a horizontal cylindrical high vacuum chamber to Los Alamos National Lab (LANL). LANL is a world-class facility with a broad range of science, technology, and engineering capabilities.

The vacuum chamber is a horizontal cylindrical vessel with conflat ports that is constructed of 304 stainless steel with a #7 line grain finish on the interior and a bead blast finish on the exterior chamber surface. The overall chamber dimensions are approximately 48″ diameter x 160″ long.

The vacuum chamber is rated at 1*10^-7 Torr with an appropriate vacuum pump and helium leak tested to a rate of 1 x 10^-9 atm*cc/sec. The unit is designed for front loading with a deep dished door with bolt clamping on the flange and an o-ring groove design. It was delivered with PE stamping along with a vacuum and helium leak testing certificate.

This chamber is exactly what we needed.”

– Nicola Winch, Staff Scientist, LANL
